Karin Valentine has invited us to her Where Bloggers Create- Party.
And this is my contribution.
Mostly I create in this room where my antique, whitepainted desk is. Where also the computer is since I create a lot on the computer such as cards, pictures and texts. But I am not always in here. I also run between the kitchen where I keep a lot of material and the dining room table where I also keep lots and lots of buttons, ribbons, lace and old bibel paper..
Sometimes I find an empty frame in the second hand store and it might take years to find out what to do with it. This became the frame for my mother and her sister when they were children. In 1912 and 1913 that was. In the cuboard I also keep a lot of material such as paper of all sorts. Handmade-, transfer- and gluepaper. This shelf is above the computer where I store most of my handmade journals granddad's old glasses and clock. Two or thre witepainted dictionaires too.
The antique desk with the antique chair.
The working table.
Beside the working desk is this wicker chair when I want a minutes rest. Next to it is an old bottle holder full of antique music sheets. Handy!
My mother's engament dress which she made herself. Is now hanging on the wall. She got engaged to my dad in 1936.
The drerss in full picture together with a summer hat.
Decorations with a heart and an ornament
Summer hat with rose.
The door of my working room is also covered with old music sheets and a few laces with beautiful faces on it.
My bears which I bought in San Fransisco about 15 years ago have got new trimmings.
Here they are resting in the wicker chair.
Card on handmade paper.
Some other cards of mine put in an empty white painted frame with chicken wire.
This golden empty frame I found on the second hand for a song and put it on the shelf next to the picture of me as a six year old.
A journal I made through a Printing Office. It was so expensive I had to stop making them like that.
Mum and Auntie again. Mum is to the right and Auntie to the left.
An old shopping bag plus an old apron plus some lace and finally a beautiful woman makes it more fun to go shopping. The other day I learnt how to make roses out of fabric and here they are on my antique piano stool.
Empty frames can be put around things you have to make them more interesting. These are my mother's first shoes and under that grandma's antique silver purse and her pair of antique sissors.
Boxes you get things in from the post office are very usefull. Clad in music sheets, lace and things it is much more decorative. In this box I keep cards and envelopes.
While tidying up and moving supply from the other rooms to my office I found a couple of boxes whiched I pimped, of course.
Note books in a pimped box.
More note books plus plenty of my crinkled ribbons all sorts of colours.
Yet another note book. In the small silver frame are my mother and aunt gain. Miniature!
